How parents are impacting the important aspects of children's life.
Yesterday was a very important day for my friend. He is currently in 9th. He got to go for his result.
He was quite afraid of his result though he had performed very well. What might have been the reason behind it? What was the cause behind his consciousness?
After thinking a little, I got to the conclusion that in today's era the system is get designed in such a way that the marks scored by an individual are more important than his overall growth. The system treats all the children as same.
It happened just a few months back when I met my uncle whose child was preparing for an entrance. Those who don't know in India there are entrances for entering into top collages & there is a very tough competition in these entrances. When we met I asked what is he doing nowadays. He replied that his father has chosen him to prepare for medical entrance.
I was totally shocked. Because he got very nice physic and I thought he might get into armed forces or might get into some sports field though he was not able to study that well.
Now can you just imagine when he will become a doctor will he be able to treat his patients with his heart and soul. Whatever it is the situation when he will become a doctor, what if he is not able to crack the entrance.
Now let's take another aspect when he chooses a field according to his strengths and weaknesses, not only he will perform exceptionally well in his field but the world might also witness the rise of a genius.
The reason behind it is very simple. There is scope for talent. Talent comes to those who practice. We do the practice of what we have passion for. We have passion for what we have an interest in.
It all begins with you. So parents if you are reading this please do not enforce your dreams on your children. They are separate entities. Be friends with them and who knows you might be the contributor to creating the next genius who might change the world.
